Topical Tests
Dear all,
An update on the topical tests:
1. Take note that there will be no topical test this week. Math topical test on Angles, Perpendicular and parallel lines and squares and rectangles will be postponed. (Will let you know the dates at a later date)
2. Update on next week's topical test:
Wednesday 29th July English Topical test on Comprehension
Thursday 30th July MAth Topical test Angles, Squares and rectangles
Week 6 5th August Science Topical test on Heat
6th August Math Topical test Decimals
Week 7 12th August English Composition Topical test
Please get yourselves prepared.

Science Buskering @ Science Centre 10th to 12th July 2009
Hello all,
If your parents happen to bring you to the Science Centre and you want to support your friends at their station, you can register at the Science Buskers counter and tell them that you are supporting MAgical Science team to gain your free ticket.

Remember, Busking time is 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm.

Here are some updates of the class activities today:
1. Care In - Sharing of various customs and festivals.
Value: Wise (powerpoint)
Pg29: Think of how you can survive a week with $ 20 only. No eating at home.
Only $20.
2. Science - Heat experiment
Please note to know how heat travels. Heat travels from a hotter region to a cooler region.
Also, you need to know how heat is transferred.
How temperature of cold water in a beaker when immersed into a warm water container change.

3. Math - Understanding to thousandths

4. Eng Limerick pg 4,5 of TB
Homework:
1. Journal Writing: Write about your opinion on a newspaper article. Do emphasise the point before writing your opinion.
